Her Er Dit Hit

Danish Broadcasting Network, DR, made a show called ‘Her Er Dit Hit’, where the host, Carsten Holm, zoom into a specific artist to celebrate them, to learn more and to view the music from new and more angles than before seen.
Wooden Box Studio had the pleasure of contributing to the show twice in 2020. Firstly we made a string arrangement of danish rapper L.O.C’s hit ‘Frk. Escobar’, performed by my string ensemble, LiveStrings. Later on Nicolai Kornerup and I made a version of Dodo & The Dodos hit song ‘Vågner I Natten’ for piano and cello, that we performed ourselves.
I was a lot of fun to do and we really welcome this show and the way it highlights musicians and the people behind all the radio hits.
